  • Can anyone use a paddle board?
    All you need is a little balance. If you can ride a bike, or walk in a straight line, you can paddle!
  • Where can I paddle?
    Anywhere the water is deep enough for the fin.
  • What is the board made of?

  • What is the return policy?
    If you are unhappy with your purchase within 20 days of receipt, we will be happy to accept your purchase for an exchange or partial refund. ​ To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. ​ The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the returns back to us. All returns are subject to a $30 restocking fee. If the item you receive is the in-correct item then we will pay for your return shipping.
  • How long does it take to inflate my paddle bard with the manual pump provided?
    It takes about 10-12 minutes to inflate the paddle board using the manual pump or 7-8 minutes with our Electric SUP pump.
  • Is a PFD required at all times?
    PFDs are required at all times while on the board.
  • Can I check it at the airport?
    Handle this equipment like any other sports equipment (skis, golf clubs, etc.) making sure it is properly tagged and packaged. Consult your airline for specific requirements.
  • How do I stand on my board?
    Beginners should stand with feet hip width apart with one foot slightly in front of the other. Keep knees slightly bent to reduce pressure on your back. You should be slightly in front of the midpont of the board
  • How do I stop?
    Move towards the back of the board until its submerged slightly, and the front end lifts out of the water. Your board will stop.
  • How do I repair my board?
    1. Clean area with rubbing alcohol 2. Cut provided patch slightly bigger than hole size 3. Apply glue to both surfaces with the glue on the rough side of the patch 4. Let sit for 10 minutes 5. Apply patch, making sure you push out all the air bubbles 6. Let sit over night See our Assembly Instructions Page (link at the bottom of the page) for details.
  • How do I clean my board?
    Rinse with fresh water. Use a mild detergent periodically, paying special attention to the pad to prevent mildew.
  • Can there be multiple riders?
    The boards can hold 220-300lbs. When there are multiple riders, be sure to stay within the weight limits of the board!
  • What are the benefits of paddle boarding?
    Fresh air, fun and fitness! It can be peaceful or exhilarating. Full body workout focuses on core, gluts, obliques, thighs and arms. There is also a cardio calorie burning benefit. For men, approximately 1000kcals per hour, for women approximately 700kcals per hour. (Twice as many as a treadmill!!)

  • What is the warranty on my Cottage Sports paddle board?
    OUR PRODUCTS: We build our boards using only the finest quality materials; bringing life to every SUP through the hands of seasoned craftsmen at our advanced manufacturing. Every SUP must be cared for, failing to do so may lead to premature failure. SUPs are NOT built like wakeboards and will fail under excessive forces, impacts, heat, sun exposure or when ridden beyond their intended weight limits. WARRANTY CLAIMS: All SUPs sold by Cottage Sports come with a warranty to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 Year from the date of purchase. If returned goods are determined to not be faulty, then all returning shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer. All warranties are voided if returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, mis-installed, modified, tampered, abused, or physically damaged. Covered claims will be repaired at the discretion of Cottage Sports
